POSITION: Software Product Manager – Trading – Chicago, IL.
SUMMARY: Our client is one of the premiere trading firm that develops cutting-edge software applications nationwide. The Software Product Manager main focus is enhancing business trading software product into a more user friendly venue. This entails increasing productivity, defining tools to automate, streamline the process of delivering, and supporting the trading software product and users. Implement best practices throughout the larger organization for the marketing and delivery of the product. Develop and deliver training programs and educational materials for both new and existing users via the website and in person.
QUALIFICATIONS: 5+ years experience in product management of complex software products. Analyst role: Business or Program / Product. Prior trading industry experience highly desired. MBA a plus. Some ad hoc coding experience. Strong analytical, problem-solving, conceptual skills, and must be detail oriented with outstanding presentation. Good verbal and written communication skills. Strong desire to succeed and ability to work under pressure.
