POSITION: SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING MANAGER
SUMMARY: Our client is a global industry-leading retail company providing quality products and strong customer service nationwide. As a key member, the Marketing Manager Function: Primary objective is executing, managing all elements of the strategic Social Media, Digital marketing mix, national events planning campaigns, market analysis, press relations, promotional activities / advertising, consumer marketing and brand awareness, web strategies, and data analysis. High visibility / heavy interface, utilizing your strong marketing strategic expertise in Social Media, Digital Branding, and Web Media trends worldwide experience.
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Finance or equivalent related field. 5+ years experience in the Marketing industry. 3 years of strong social media, web marketing, and digital arena expertise. Must have strong Customer Relationships Building and Sales/Consultative experience. Strong consumer marketing, research market analysis, branding awareness, national events planning and execution, press relations / promotional / advertising, web strategies, and data analysis experience. Retail database management systems (POS or related applications) and strong Competent Technical Computer skills. Strong analytical, problem-solving, conceptual skills, detail oriented, and outstanding presentation skills. Good verbal and written communication skills. Strong desire to succeed and ability to work under pressure. Willingness to travel about 20%.
LOCATION: Nationwide – Ideally candidates will be located in one of these locations: Boston or Cambridge, MA or Santa Barbara, CA regions.
JOB TYPE: Permanent – SALARY: a competitive attractive base salary + incentives.
