Summary: Client: Software Company looking to revolutionize the electricity markets in North America. They are seeking driven individuals who can take our existing products to the next level. The successful candidate will be part of an expanding software development team.
- This role involves maintaining and enhancing our existing Datafeed Service, Analytics toolset, Trading and Back Office platform.
- This person needs to have strong architectural as well as technical development and critical thinking skills. Leadership skills are also important.
- Design, develop, and test utilizing the Microsoft .Net framework. Application development is generally with .NET / (C# and VB.NET) and MS SQL Server.
- This is a windows based development environment.
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
- 5+ years of software development experience using VB / C# / .Net / SQL
- Must have strong architectural and technical development skills
- Must have experience working with trading applications and any experience with Energy trading applications a huge plus
- 5+ years of database experience using SQL
