POSITION: Human Resource Representative – Chicago, IL.
Summary: Client is a global/national Retail / Manufacturing company. We are seeking a Human Resource Representative for the Chicago Corporate Office. As the Strategic Business Partner working with the company’s owned regional Retail Branches and Parts Distribution Center (PDC), you will create, develop and implement a full life cycle policy and procedural programs for approx 1000+employees. Develop and lead site employee recruiting, on boarding, training and development and succession planning. Administer plant benefits, compensation and payroll related processes.
The Human Resource Representative placed in this position will cover the Midwest and Southern US territory regions. Must be open to travel, (Domestic) approx. 20%.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in related field. 2 to 6 years within a Human Resources generalist role, of which consist 2+ years of project management / supervisory experience. Must have experience in managing multi-site facilities environments within one of the following: Retail, Manufacturing, Consumer Products, Distribution, or Supply Chain industries.
Working knowledge of Lean Principles, and of applicable State and Federal laws and regulations in theUS. PHR/SPHR certification preferred. Excellent project management skills, outstanding presentation, verbal and written communication skills, and report writing skills. Extensive experience in organizing, planning, and executing large-scale projects from vision to implementation. Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite, and Access. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills. Strong desire to succeed and ability to work under pressure.
