POSITION: HEALTHCARE CERTIFIED SR. CODING ANALYST
SUMMARY: Our client is a multi-level healthcare organization that provides exceptional medical and health services to the community. As a key member, the Healthcare Certified Senior Coding Analyst will have high visibility and heavy interface with physicians and medical staff professionals throughout the entire organization. Heavy focus on coding regulations, principals, and compliance. Managing the billing reimbursement processes for all patients, ensuring that all coding is accurate.
QUALIFICATIONS: High school graduate or some college coursework. Coding Certification: CCS. Alternatively, Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) or Registered Health Information Technician required. Must have 3+ years of inpatient / outpatient coding, assignment reimbursement, and expertise in ICD-9-CM. Strong working knowledge of CPT-4. 1+ years of ED/E&M coding expertise required. Strong medical terminology, anatomy, and medical electronic records applications. Competent Technical Computer Knowledge. Strong analytical, problem-solving, conceptual skills, and must be detail oriented with outstanding presentation. Good verbal and written communication skills. Strong desire to succeed and ability to work under pressure.
