C# Software/Firmware Engineer

Salary or Hourly range: $60K to 90K Depending on experience

Summary: Responsible for continuing development of a C# application for controlling an analytical instrument. Must consider intended audience when making design decisions. Ease of use and functionality are a top priority. Participate in code reviews and software release testing. Create release documentation and operating manuals. Responsible for bug fixes as well as new feature development. Experience with writing software for machine / instrument control a plus.
Develop firmware in C and debug low level hardware for our designs. Review PCB designs, BOMs and assemblies. Order prototype components and help assemble prototypes.
The ideal candidate must be detailed oriented, have very strong analytical and debugging skills, be a self-starter and have 3 to 5+ years experience. BSCE preferred.
